“Towards Global Health: strengthening the rehabilitation sector through civil society” was a three years project of the Humanitarian Inclusion (the then Handicap International), financed by the European Union. From December 2016 to March 2017, under the project, the team Harmony rendered technical assistance for the Institutional Capacity Development of three (3) Rehabilitation Professional Associations (RPA).

The assignment strengthened the RPAs so that they can create a strong position for themselves within the rehabilitation sector, make a valuable contribution to transforming the sector into a responsive and quality-driven one, and support evidence-based policy decisions regarding physical rehabilitation. In this regard, the assignment fostered an internally owned capacity-building process based on a critical analysis of the existing level of abilities and potentials of the RPAs to perform as the key CSOs within the rehabilitation sector in Bangladesh.
