The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh had been implementing the 4th Health, Population and Nutrition Sector Program (4th HPNSP) from January 2017 to June 2022. In February and March 2020, Harmony contributed to the Mid Term Review of the Programme to capture the implementation progress from January 2017 to December 2019.
In the MTR Harmony covered Medical Education and Regulation related thematic areas, Including the pre-Service Education and regulation for health manpower development, and Nursing and Midwifery Education. The main task was to assess the programmatic and financial progress of the relevant OPs considering the relevant indicators of Results Framework and relevant Disbursement Linked Indicators and Results of the 4thHPNSP. The process also reviewed the progress in addressing the cross-cutting issues relevant to the thematic areas and identified challenges in implementing planned activities and utilization of budget.
