On July 6th July, 2025, HARMONY Trust, in collaboration with the Centre for Cancer Care Foundation (CCCF) and Dhaka University, empowered over 60 students with vital skills to combat breast cancer. The interactive workshop, held at Kabi Sufia Kamal Auditorium (University of Dhaka), focused on early detection and risk mitigation through:
✅ Breast Self Examination (BSE): Hands-on training to promote regular self-checks and early detection – a critical step in fighting breast cancer.
✅ Holistic Risk Reduction: Evidence-based Yoga & Reflexology techniques to manage stress and naturally lower breast cancer risks.
We were honored by the presence of:
• Prof. Dr. Salma Nasrin (Provost, Sufia Kamal Hall)
• Dr. Rina Rani Pal (Public Health Researcher)
• Jahan-e-Gulshan Shapla (General Secretary, CCCF)
Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers from Centre for Cancer Care Foundation – Umama Fatima, Ridiya Afros Raka, Ruku Khatun, and Tanushree Daria Prantika, whose energy made this event a success!
This initiative reflects HARMONY Trust’s unwavering commitment to preventive healthcare, holistic wellness, and community-driven awareness.
A heartfelt thank you to Dhaka University and the Centre for Cancer Care Foundation (CCCF) for their invaluable partnership and shared dedication to student well-being.
