Plan International Bangladesh (PIB) has its commitment to shift from ‘transactional’ to ‘transformational’ partnerships. In persuasion of that, PIB planned to train all of its staff to support them in gaining improved partnership competencies and introduce appropriate Partnership Brokering Roles for all of them. From March to May 2022, a five (5) member team of Harmony supported the initiative by developing a module and enhancing the competence of a pool of Master Trainers to deliver the course.
The process of needs assessment and course design encompassed literature review, a survey of all PIB staff, focused conversation sessions with the members of the Multi-Functional Working Group (of PIB), and consultation with the high officials of PIB and partnership practitioners of other like-minded INGOs. Accordingly, the module was developed and team Harmony facilitated a residential ToF workshop for the Master Trainers.
