On the morning of February 9th, Harmony Trust organized a health camp as part of the ‘Embracing Early detection and Holistic Measures Countering Breast Cancer’ project at the Mofizbag Housing Bridge in Shekher Tek. This initiative was undertaken as part of the observance of World Cancer Day. The training session focused on empowering marginalised women with knowledge about Breast Self-Examination and the use of naturopathy in cancer management.
Breast cancer is a global health concern, and early detection plays a critical role in enhancing survival rates and treatment outcomes. By equipping women with the knowledge and practical skills for self-examination, they are empowered to become proactive in identifying any potential signs of breast cancer. This initiative highlights the importance of community engagement and education in fighting breast cancer. It’s a commendable effort that seeks to empower individuals and promote overall wellness within the community.
