BLAST implemented the Mobile Legal Services for Urban Poor Women Project in the period of January 2016 to February 2018, with financial assistance from the American Center at U.S. Embassy in Dhaka. The study examined the effectiveness of the project in the delivery of legal aid and legal awareness services to the slum women in Dhaka City and its impact on their lives. It also assessed the aspects of relevance, efficiency, and sustainability of the project, and captured the lessons accordingly.

A seven (7) member team of Harmony conducted the study between February to May 2018. It applied (mainly) qualitative research techniques in the collection and analysis of information. The methods were Desk Research, FGD, In-Depth Interview, E-Interview, Case Study, and Workshop.
