The initiative aims to shift in approach and mindset to cancer among the mass people, victims, caregivers, and policymakers. Through the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the popularization of screening, it contributes to the control of preventable types of cancer.

Dialogues with the oncologists and other policy-influencing activities are undertaken for the inclusion of yoga therapy and reflexology therapy as reliable complementary medicine in curative and/or palliative care for cancer.

In pursuing the strategic interest, Harmony has also become an active member of two forums, i.e., the Breast Cancer Awareness Forum and March for Mother Morcha. Besides, the initiative also strives to break the social taboo about cancer and bring cancer survivors back to social life.
