On December 20, 2025, a targeted training session titled “Early Detection and Holistic Measures Countering Breast Cancer” was successfully held at the BARCIK Nagar Resource Center in Hajaribag, Dhaka. The session was conducted by Harmony Trust and  organized by the Bangladesh Resource Center for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK).

The session brought underprivileged women participants, who were trained on evidence-based Breast Self-Examination (BSE) techniques, early signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and preventive measures. Alongside awareness-building discussions, participants engaged in yoga and reflexology practices aimed at enhancing prevention awareness for breast cancer, physical and mental wellbeing as part of holistic health care.

The training was enriched and led by Ms. Syeda Shahida Sultana Elora, Coordinator, Health Care Program, Harmony Trust, whose expertise and facilitation ensured an interactive and impactful learning experience.
